Fictional World - my favourite destination!!

And the best part about this getaway is that I am never bored of it , it always tops my travel bucket list!! I am an insane traveller, who loves going to new places and meeting new people in my "imagination", instead of posting those vacay photos with hastag Wanderlust!!

Wait I guess you have got it by now. I travel in stories!! Stories in the form of books and movies. Now please don't ask me that stereotypical question about my preference between books or movies; because I can't decide I love both! I am a nerdy bookworm, who loves sitting with a mug of coffee on that comfortable chair of mine with my world in my hands; as well as I am that crazy movie buff who loves chilling with snacks in front of the screen!(Hush, hush I will share a secret with you I have a hidden talent too I can stare at the tv screen for hours on end😂)

So today I got something for all you bookworms and movie buffs out there. According to our dictionaries you are specifically known as bibliophiles and cinephiles!! 

But let's not just fit in a box and lets spread our wings to fly and explore!!

Firstly , let's just activate our guilt free mode as we are going to be indulging in our guilty pleasures, our favourite passtimes! But  hey, reading books and watching movies is productive too,as after all it does the job of keeping our souls happy ( wink, wink)

So now I am going to spill the beans , I have made a list of my personal suggestions, of amazing movies adapted from fantastic books. So the voracious reader in you can choose its way and the movie buff in you can have its own choice!

SPOILER ALERT!!- Most of the suggestions are either rom- coms or high school romance, and they have a high dose of drama and fantasy.

LET'S BEGIN!!

1. EVERYDAY

Ever imagined how adventurous it would be to wake up in a different body every single day? Sounds unbelievably crazy right? This is exactly what the story is like! A teenage girl falls in love with a spirit who inhabits a different person's  body everyday. This is an unique lovestory which seems totally impossible, but I bet it will make you fall in love with its script and no sooner you would want to be a part of this unbelievable saga!

It's a 2018 film, which has our famously loved music track- Electric love!

The book is also called Everyday and it's written by David Levithan.

2. LOVE ROSIE

Bestfriends are our human diaries, with whom we share everything, from our daily errands to our deepest secrets, we make our bucket lists with them, we literally plan our entire future revolving around each other's lives. In short we are like soulmates for life!

This story defines friendship through all the highs and lows in life. It's a perfect mix of love, friendship, families, and loyalty!!

Love Rosie is a 2004 film, directed by Christian Ditter.

The book has a little dreamy title called WHERE THE RAINBOWS END, it's written by one of my favourites, Cecilia Ahern!

3. SHE'S THE MAN

How far would you go for the love of your game and the love of your life . This story is about a tomboy, who reaches great heights for her love for soccer, but in this process she ends up falling in love with a guy and soon things start to get complicated, the reason being that everybody knows her as a BOY!!

This story is a nice light hearted comedy, which instantly cheers up your day.

She's the man is a 2006 film, which isn't a deep movie though but it holds a strong message about gender equality!!

Believe it or not, this movie is somewhat similar to the famous Shakespearean play, Twelfth Night! Just with a modern day twist to it!

4. THE DUFF

Each college has those stereotypical labels for different groups, like the nerds, the jocks, the rockers,the mean girls, the popular and the list goes on. But have you ever heard of DUFF? It literally means the designated ugly fat friend! Rude right? This story is another jovial high school movie which carries a great message about self- love and self- acceptance!

The Duff is a 2015 film with a realistic storyline. 

The novel is also called The Duff , it is written by Kody Keplinger and was published in 2011.

5. Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List

Friendships are the most essential and important things in our lives, they are almost as vital as oxygen. This story is a crazy one , two city kids,who are perfect BFFs , with one crazier book of their own rules. Life and love are unexpected and unpredictable ; and all of this just makes things complicated. This story is full of surprises, learning to love what you have and knowing the literal meaning of sticking to each other!

This is a 2015 film, it's crazy, full of fun and surprises and totally impulsive!( All of this just makes it more and more interesting).

The book also had the same name, it's written by the famous duo of Rachel Cohn and David Levithan.

Let's just switch to our sensitive and emotional mode now, and be ready for the next blockbusters coming on our way now.

6. FIVE FEET APART

This pandemic has made us familiar with the term "Social Distancing", stay 6 feet apart. This distance acts like a pivot all throughout the movie. These "few- feet apart" lovestories are always so tough you know! This story has everything love, life, death, medicines, hope and survival ( Stay strong ok😊) . Both the characters suffer from life-threatening diseases, they learn to survive and love , overcoming all this trauma. This story just teaches us so many life lessons. It will make you happy and sad at the same time, you would be so engrossed in it that you would never know when you feel the wetness on your cheeks.

Talking about the movie it's a 2018 film.

The fun fact is that the movie and the book were made at the same time!!

The book is written by Rachael Lippincott, and it's already to make you emotional and thoughtful!

7. MIDNIGHT SUN

Diseases are so traumatic, it's almost like having a life and not being able to live it to the fullest! This is a story about a girl who has a rare disease , she is allergic to the sun, she can never go out in the sun, never feel the warmth of it.This story shows us how this girl lives her lovestory with the love of her life , overcoming all her problems. This story is sure to leave you thinking about what you have got and the value of everything !

It's a 2015 film starring the ever gorgeous Bella Throne.

The book also shares the same name and it's written by Trish Cook.
