Bookmarks!!

In the book called Life 

We got to keep record

Of the happiness, the drama, the strife

So in the end we are totally satisfied with the lifetime achievement award.. 

So while reading the book 

We got to set a bookmark

To each chapter ,each story 

Each journey on which you did embark

So let's start with the small little joys

Just remembering that smile when dad got me new toys 

Or the time my mother read me stories 

Of kings, queens and magical fairies.....

Let's bookmark the time

When I met my favourite teacher at age nine

Even the time when everything seemed 

Happy, fantastic and divine

Let's bookmark the time 

I met my best friend

Oh we were so meant to be 

As perfect as my Dalgona coffee's blend

Let's bookmark the time

When I felt my first heartbreak

Oh it was so innocent and pure 

And how can I just say that it was a mistake.....

Let's bookmark the time 

I got the most amazing grades

The time I looked so sincere

With my ironed uniform , glasses and those pretty braids.

Let's bookmark the times

I was forgiven for my mistakes

And taught that nothing in life is a piece of cake .

Let's bookmark the time 

I had numerous fights

Foolishly thinking that I was fighting for my rights....

Let's bookmark 

Those adventurous trips

The times when we had endless chats 

With a tub of ice-cream and countless packets of chips.

Let's bookmark

The struggle

When I was too caught up

And had several different tasks to juggle

Let's bookmark the time

Life was carefree

And when I would silly dance to my smallest victory

Oh that seems so long back , it's history.....

Let's bookmark

My life , each of it

In small tiny bits

My happiness and my sorrows

All my today's and tomorrows

My people and my feelings

All my goals ,my dreams and the time that was so appealing

Because each moment was priceless

Because I believed in living fearless

So it was lived thoroughly and felt timeless

All I can say is it was a totally beautiful mess!!!
